Ladies, park your pride at the door. Turns out male drivers actually are more capable than female drivers at getting their automobiles in a parking space, if one is to believe a new report coming from Europe.

A number of kinds of parking were integrated in this relatively curious exercise which included participants aiming to park their respective cars in the most excellent possible manner within the given parking space.

Female drivers not just didn't perform as satisfactory a task but in addition needed roughly 15 secs more to park the given cars.

I have to sell my 1999 Volvo S70 T5 (priced at just about $8K) because the existing one is, at this point, too small (3 adults, 1 child and another on the way).

I have to express that I have been contented with the vehicle, I ain't a speed demon and the vehicle struggles to touch 125 kph but I don't mind that; I am, really, just selling as its dimension is too small for family way of going about things.

Please endorse any options estimated at around the same that are:
a) more spacious
b) similar minimal emission
c) advantageous on small drives (since that's what we primarily do)
d) decent on mileage

Our new car! Yay! by Jainbow

I am eagerly looking forward to getting my different vehicle, only it should not be extremely pricey, still be a vehicle that I could depend on, besides being one that is stress-free to maintain.

Ultimately, if you are pleased with the vehicle I spoke of but you just need to swap it with a vehicle that gives your family more room, then which one would you vote for? I enjoy the look of the Subaru Outbacks. Although I think it could be difficult to stumble on one in the given price range. SUVs would be practical for our home because we reside in the mountains and we do have some off road trails exist, however it's not compulsory for it to be a 4×4.

While I hold on for the sale I imagine I can merely bear on propelling a hire motorcar

Thanks for all suggestions.

My old man just returned his Ford Explorer and is looking to lease a new one. He previously made clear that the previous SUV was not very kind on his back and also that the engine capacity was more than he wanted… So he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it needs to be Offroader given that he enjoys mountain biking, etc… plus it's the solitary big vehicle in the household, I borrowed his SUV several times to move stuff all over the place since I own a Honda Accord and my spouse a Scion Xa.

Nonetheless, the money; it's without doubt less than US $30k after taxes and fees.

He did like the Mazda CX7, but it does not have adequate bite, the Turbo edition has superb engine capacity and drives well, but for that much he feels he could get something else.

He got a wonderful bargain at Volkswagen for a Jetta SportWagen 2.5L 5 cylinders… but he has a reliability concern given that our Audi Q7 and VW Cabrio were regulalrly facing problems. I suggested that with a 24-month contract he shouldn't have any troubles (as opposed to driving the Audi just as he did for about 4 years).

Next there is the new Kia Sorento, a very enjoyable car, one can feel quality all over if you choose to explore this vehicle… Dad even said that he would have bought the car already if not for the overly irritating salesman… I feel after taxes it reaches $32k or so, but he does seem to like the SUV very much.

He drove the Toyota Highlander (4 cylinders) and was of the opinion that it handled like crap… I didn't get to check that one, nevertheless he does seem to be convinced that his new SUV won't be a Toyota.

If you are aware of any agreeable options which he could think about without having to shell out an excessive amount of money, your ideas are very welcome.
